They left the malt shop and continued on their way to Roderich’s house. As much as he wanted to avoid the whole issue and the subsequent consequences, Roderich knew his cousin was right. While the newlyweds were inside, making the most of their first night as a married couple, their friends slowly dispersed, until only Gilbert remained along with Basch and Lili.
