“Hey! What’s up with the shades? Afraid someone’ll recognize you?” Dean teased.
Death cracked a bit of a smile. He reached out and caressed Dean’s cheek. “No.” Taking Dean’s hand, he slipped the ring on his finger. Death liked the way Dean’s eyes went wide as he looked down at his hand. He chuckled at the play of emotion on Dean’s face as he tried to come up with something witty to say. Death took off his sunglasses, tucking them away in his pocket, and raised an eyebrow.
“I guess this means we’re engaged,” Dean quipped.
“If you say so.”
