Bobby was digging around on the top shelf in the closet for a book on vampire lore, when it fell on him. “BALLS!” Several old photos cascaded around him to join the rest on the floor. There was a picture of him and Rufus, another of him and the boys. The one that really tugged on his heartstrings was a picture of Karen. It was taken just before she passed and all the memories he had of their time together hit hard. Bobby sighed, and gathering the photos together, he returned them to the box, which he buried again in the dark recesses of the closet. One day, he figured he’d go through them, but that day was not today.
