Fandom: Original
Characters: Amber, mention of her family
Word count: 353

Author’s note: Special thanks to my beta Kat for pinking this. Please also note that this was also written for Holiday Prompts Autumn: Images table. Also Amber, Greta, Minky, Maria, James belong to Kat.
Amber got out a stack of flannel shirts from a box in the closet. Supernatural’s fifteenth and final season was going to start tonight and she decided to make a party out of it. Burgers and fries were on the menu for dinner along with a couple of homemade apple pies that Didi and Tino were bringing. Minky promised to hit the convenience store near where she worked and pick up several bags of chips and a couple liters of Coke and one of Sprite for the kids. Bernd had gone into town to have lunch with James and afterwards, he went to the dollar store and bought enough salt and pepper sets to fill them up with salt and give everyone one as a party favor.
She smiled as she laid the shirts out. There was a yellow one for Greta and a red one for Minky. The blue and white one she was planning on wearing herself, while the faded pink one was definitely Bernd’s. Fritz had a similar one in red, and Maria also had a cute purple and pink one. Everyone else was on their own when it came to shirts. Amber wondered if James was going to wear his mismatched one. It was a clash of green and purple, and burgundy and blue that somehow worked. Amber had the feeling if he could have found one in pink and orange, and god knew what else, Bernd would have one too. She shook her head and chuckled at the mental image she had of him.
Amber checked the time. It was five o’clock and there were burgers to fry and potatoes to turn into fries. The onion rings, she decided, were going to be a bag of store bought ones. In fact, Greta and the kids should be back any minute with them and a couple packages of hamburger buns. Sighing softly, she left her room and headed upstairs to the kitchen. The show was going to be on in three hours and she had to get busy, making a dinner fit for a couple of “hunters” and family.
