The Veil is thin...
This morning I when I was on my way to work, at around 6:30 when it was pitch black out, I saw something white run across the road in front of my car. It was far enough away that all I could see was something small & white, but close enough to have seen it. I was like "it was either a bunny or a squirrel or cool, I saw something spooky" & thought nothing more of it. The ride to work was uneventful, I pull into the school yard, drive around the front circle & park near the playground. Since I'm early, I sit in the car & sing along to the radio. I can see the road & cars going by & I can see the other parking strip for the teachers, where I park in the afternoon when they're mostly gone, and there's a wide strip of grass there. So I'm singing and looking out across the way & I see a white deer. It seems to get spooked and ran across the road towards where I was sitting in my car. Now, there's three trees there and I should have seen the deer, but it vanished the moment it went behind the tree. I know someone who lives down the road & once had a deer in their backyard, so at first I was like "cool!" It was when I was telling the person I work with about it, I came to the conclusion that something was trying to tell me something. The whole thing felt dream-like & I made a comment about still dreaming & we laughed & that was it. I repeated the story to my afternoon coworker & something made me think of my late uncle. So while I was making dinner, I called my auntie to find out if every was okay. As I was explaining it, she wondered out loud if it was her late husband, coming to wish me a happy bday as well as a friend of theirs that still lives in my state. I believe it's possible. I've not only seen, my late uncle in their living room, one summer when I went to visit my granny, after she had had her stroke & was living with a cousin until my auntie sold her house & moved. Two summers ago, we saw a black dog head towards the room I was staying in, in my auntie's new house in a different state. The dog came & slept with me & that was cuz it was a dog used to have that went over the Rainbow Bridge that really liked me. :D So, yeah, the veil is thin...

That said, something did happen! Just when work was nearly done on Friday, my boss called to tell me about an email that popped up from last week about a kid not being there. I started laughing as I was playing a game with the kid & we both agreed it was "weird"! ;D
I guess the spookiness is done as NOTHING happened at all today, except for seeing Ginger out front when I came home with a pizza for dinner. It was fun while it lasted! :D
