Summary: HRE and Chibitalia share a private moment together…
For Vexed with love…
They were sitting in an old, forgotten room, sipping some of the new drink that Spain had sent them. Holy Roman Empire reached over and took a marshmallow candy from the pile Chibitalia had managed to “steal” from the kitchen. He dipped it in the warm chocolate beverage, before popping it in his mouth.
Chibitalia giggled and did the same. She thought it was cute the way Holy Roma’s cheeks heated up and to stop herself from giggling, she sipped her drink. She had the feeling Signor Austria would be very angry if he knew about their stolen moments together, but she did not care. Signor Prussia, Holy Roma’s older brother, had told her numerous times that Signor Austria only got angry because he had no idea how to have fun. Chibitalia was inclined to believe him too.
Holy Roman Empire licked his lips. Chibitalia had the most adorable chocolate mustache and he was dying to lick it off. Instead, he averted his eyes and helped himself to more marshmallows. Like the chocolate drink, they were supposed to be good for you, in that helped stomach upset, but they were not helping one bit. His stomach still felt like a million butterflies were trapped in it and as much as he wanted to run away, he dreaded leaving her company. So he, to use his brother’s vulgar expression, sucked it up and sat there, soaking up Chibitalia’s presence.
She pushed the plate of marshmallows towards her friend; he seemed to need them more than she did. Besides, Chibitalia knew she could get more simply by visiting Signorina Hungary in the kitchen and asking for them. In fact, it was her idea that the two of them have this little, private, picnic tea and Signorina Hungary had generously helped with the preparations. She also would have made more food, if Holy Roman Empire had wanted it. As far as Chibitalia knew, she was busy keeping Signore Austria occupied, so that they could get away for some alone time.
Holy Roman Empire sighed. He grabbed another marshmallow, popped it his mouth, and ate it. Seeing there was only one left, he picked it up, fully intending to hand it to Chibitalia. He leaned towards her to give it to her.
Chibitalia also leaned forward and smiled. Instead of reaching for the marshmallow with her hand, she proceeded to eat it from his fingers, something she had seen Signorina Hungary do with Signor Austria.
Holy Roman Empire turned beet red. His beloved Chibitalia’s lips were on his fingers and he could hear his brother, in his head, making all sorts of vulgar remarks. But it felt too good and too naughty at the same time to pull his hand back like he was sorely tempted to do. He had often dreamed of kissing her and now here she was practically kissing his fingers. He blinked as he tried getting his emotions under control. Throwing caution to the wind, he leaned in, kissing her…
