For theymp…

Dean held Death’s hand as he headed into the Bunker. He couldn’t believe he was engaged and to Death of all people… or things. He shook his head. Dean always figured he’d marry Lisa, or barring that, a Hooters waitress, or a barmaid, or… he had no idea what, but Death never figured into any of it. Now he had to explain things to Sammy.

“Sam?! Sammy!” Dean looked around the main living areas.

“What? “ Sam hurried out of the library. “Where’ve you… Never mind,” he said, after spotting Death.

Dean held up hand. “We’re getting married!”

“What?” Sam looked at his brother like he had three heads. He glanced over at Death, noting his amused smile. “You’re kidding, right?”

Death peered over the top of his Ray-Bans. “I never kid,” he said, the ghost of a smile twitching his lips upwards.

“Oh…” Sam sat down.

“Yeah…” Dean beamed at him. “It took me by surprise too.”

“Wow…” Sam said. “You sure this isn’t some elaborate hoax to get me back for marrying Becky? If you remember, I was under the influence of some love potion.”

“Positive.” Dean grinned. “So will you be my best man?”

“Uh, sure…” Sam hoped this would be a long engagement as he felt like he’d need an eternity to get used to idea of Dean marrying Death. Sure they tended to flirt with each other on some level, but this? It was unthinkable to the max. He looked over at them. His brother and Death did seem happy together and who was he to take away any little bit of happiness in Dean’s life? “So, uh… When’s the big date?”

Death and Dean exchanged glances.

“We were thinking of driving to Vegas and getting married at the Little Elvis Chapel on the Strip.”

“Then I guess we’d better get going,” Sam said.

Dean grinned as he threw an arm around Sam’s shoulders. “Good thing I just put gas in Baby, ‘cause we’re going to Vegas!”

“Yup!” Sam grinned back.

Death, who never figured himself for the marrying type, followed along sedately behind them. He kind of wanted to go to Disneyland for a fairytale wedding, but any wedding he was going to have with his Dean would be a good one. Besides, they could always drive to Anaheim for their honeymoon.
