Finishing his sketch, Tino decided to set up another one. Taking apart the previous one, Tino went into the dining room and set up a vignette in the window. The pumpkins and candles that sat there were moved onto the dining table. Tino went into the bedroom and came back with a couple of sweaters. He tossed them onto the table in front of the window and added the pumpkins and candles. Tino left to go retrieve the book Didi had been reading earlier from the stack of books from his previous vignette and his husband’s glasses. The mug, he placed in the sink. This time, he took a fancy teacup from the hutch and made tea in it. Bringing it back, he balanced it on top of the book. Didi’s glasses were set next to it. Tino lit the candles and drew the curtains mostly closed to frame his vignette, before sitting down to sketch.

This time when his husband came over to see what he was doing, he did not freak out like before when he saw the lit candle on the bed. Tino nodded when Didi told him to watch the candles. Christmas was coming and he wanted to have his gifts all finished and framed before it got here. This vignette with its hint of Halloween would be perfect for Amber. As for Bernd, Tino planned on sketching his dog, Windbeutel. Minky would get a sketch of her corgi, Sammy, while Denis and Michelle would get his first sketch… Tino planned everything out as he drew. As for his niece and nephew, Didi would get them something. His husband would also bake cookies for everyone, completing their gift.

Finished with his sketch, Tino blew out the candles. He had a few more to do, but tomorrow was another day, and besides, he had a feeling Didi wanted his book and glasses back. He dismantled his vignette and gave the glasses and book to his husband with a kiss. Putting the table runner back, Tino set the pumpkins back on the table with the candles. He also added a bowl with some pinecones and scattered some leaves around it. Standing back, inspiration hit and he sat back to sketch.
