“Oh, come on, Inu-chan, don’t be shy! Let me see!” Kagome chirped, her eyes sparkling mischievously.
“I look like an idiot,” Inuyasha replied.
“I’m sure you look really cute, honey,” she soothed.
He was locked in their bedroom, and had refused to come out and model the snuggie she asked him to put on.
“Well, if you look like an idiot, then I must too!” She pouted.
“I told you, you looked cute in it,” he said. When she didn’t respond, he added, “Kagome-chan…? Awe, come on, I said you looked cute! Kagome? Baby?” He heaved a long suffering sigh.
His wife turned and leaned against the door frame,quietly giggling. She knew she looked silly in her fake leopard snuggie, but she didn’t care as long as she was warm in their chilly Tokyo apartment. When she caught the commercial for the glorified bathrobe, she eagerly surfed the net so she could get one, along with a free matching one for her husband. Running her hands along the leopard velour, she knew it was well worth the exorbitant cost of shipping it to Japan. When her husband finally emerged from their bedroom, she cried, “You look great!”
“Thanks...”
They laughed.
