I can only say that we all look at work by others (writing, art, music, athletic talents, all sorts of things) and go "if only." Your art is beautiful and your style unique: keep remembering that when you look at others. :)

True, I shall look at it as a way of getting better! I really could use more figure drawing parctice. ^^;

Thanks! I know everyone's style is pretty unique, except when they're trying to do "anime." Then it all looks so generic no matter how well done it is.

One of these days, I know I'll be able to put the emotion I felt looking at that other work into my own work. Until then, I'll just keep drawing... ;p

You have a strongly stylized manner in your Inuart. I like it a lot. I haven't seen other work you've done, but I always enjoy when artists take a subject and make it their own.

Yeah? I'm glad you like it. I don't much drawing anymore, I prefer to write, but my Inuart looks just like all my other art, I suppose. ^^;

I'd love that. Some art on the back would be better than some are doing on the FRONT with words.

Yeah? I had a teacher who one tiems mentioned that only 2 peopel passed, myself surprisingly one oif them & he asked what he could do to amke the test better. I said, give us all a an extra 20 points, so I got a 100. XD I was kidding... But I guess he felt it looked better in the grade book that way. XD

OMG wild story. I hear of teachers who tell their students the first day that "most of you are going to get D's on the first exam" or the like, and it's so disheartening. I make my first test easy, but if you don't study and you fail, you fail the whole course. So it gets rid of the ppl who just plain don't do the work. Next test gets harder!

Interesting... That probably does weed out the slackers. And tests should be like that, the more material you know, the harder it gets.

By the way, would you be interested making something we could use as prompt at Iyhed? It would be fun to do that (we did it once with a piece by Jojo-kun and it worked well). Aim for something unique and smexy?

Sure! Just let me know what you want, I would be honored to do so! Also let me knwo when you need it. That way I'll make time to do it. The sketching only takes me 10, 15 minutes, it's the coloring in that takes me hours. This one took about 3, 4 hours & it's very simple.

Take your time. You could try a grouping of Shichinintai in some moment of possession or jealousy, a BanJak tease -- the goal is to have it offer something that would inspire writers to bring their words to it. So the only thing that might not work well would be a straightforward portrait of one character. Let me know if you want to discuss it more. Thank you for considering this!

Could I ask you instead to email it to me when it's done so it stays secret and then we pop it out as a prompt at Iyhed in the next week or two? After the week as a prompt, you can put it up wherever you want, of course. We'd just have it on loan for a week (like the fic entries). And oh, I'd then like to use it for the winners' banners for that week, if that's ok.

Wow, interesting question. I'm inclined to say Go for it! But lemme check with co-mods about "fairness." When we did Jojo-kun's art, she didn't write. But I wouldn't have minded if she did. I think our members will be fine with it, but one thing we could do is ask ppl to comment to the prompt post (screened) with any concerns they have. Am sure no one will, but it allows people to express their views and that's important.

I've just put up a "no more" wall in front of me at this point. Every time I try to communicate it seems to make things messier...or anyhow not fix anything. So now it's just no talking about 'relationhips' with anyone online. The end. :)

Me cynical?, Nah... That's just silly dark family humor. ;p Whenever we throw soemthing out, my brother hope the rats & seagulls at the enjoy it as much as we did. ;p

Time heals all wounds as they say... ;p And distance from the problem can't hurt either. ;D
