I've just figured out how to name my journal. Hopefully it went through. ^^;

Now all I need to do is figure out how to use the LJ cut feature. I'm sure if i search long enough, I'll find out how to do it without spending a frustrating afternoon trying to get it to work on my own.  ;p

I had fun writing a gift/challenge fic for Jinxy-sama last night. She posted it over at her journal and I'm looking forward to seeing what she came up for me. :D

I also need to finish a bunch of fics I have started & do some b-day art too. Unfortunately I'm just not in the mood to work on any of it. ^^;  Then again, there's always tomorrow! ;p

EDIT: YAY!! The name thingy worked!! :D

LJ cut feature.

For the lj cut feature all you have to do is select the text you want to put behind the cut by highlighting it with the mouse, then go up to the little area of features (the icons that has the I for italics, the B for bold, all that jazz, and on the right side of the TEXT SIZE bar thing, count over (the globe with the link is #1, then the globe with the broken link is #2, etc) 7 little icons/boxes. The seventh box with three lines and a squiggly line under those, is the lj-cut box. Click on that box. A seprate text box will pop up with the words 'READ MORE', you can type in any text you want there, and the text from your entry that you selected will be hidden and the words you typed instead of 'read more' will look like a link to an lj cut.

You can also make any text in your entry into a hyperlink by highlighting it and then clicking on the first icon to the right of the 'Text size' bar, the one that looks like a globe with chains across it. Click that box, and put in the web address you want the selected text to link to, and click 'OK'. There you go, you can link to your fan fics on FF.NET OR hide them under LJ cuts!

To decide to make it regular text again, and NOT a link, just select the link by highlighting it with the mouse and then click on the OTHER globe looking Icon... the one with the BROKEN chains around it. The link will be broken and it will go back to being 'regular' text.

Thanks... I finally figured it out after an hour of head banging against my keyboardness... ^^; There's actually a help site & it was sooo simple. I actually did it corerectly, but I was checking to see if it went through by previewing & that's where the trouble started...^^; If onoy I had known to click "Journal" *sighs*

But Thanks!! If I do have any other questioons, I'll be sure to ask before frustrating the heck out of myself. XD
