Title: Troublesome Complications…
Fandom: Kuroshitsuji
Author: kira
Words: 300
Rating: PG
Summary: Soma has mixed emotions where Agni is concerned and he’s afraid of complicating things between them…
Warnings: mild boys’ love; 2 guys kissing
Soma leaned in and kissed Agni. It was a chaste kiss, soft and sweet like the shy smile he gave him. “Agni?” Soma said, a delicate blush staining his cheeks a soft rosy hue.
“My prince.” Agni smiled, even though his felt his resolution against seducing this lonely boy going up in smoke. It would have been so easy to give into the feelings of lust, but Agni fought it. Soma had not given him a new life just so he could fall back into his old ways.
“You like?”
“Yes, my prince,” he replied as he wondered where this was heading. Agni had assumed the role of best friend and big brother where Soma was concerned, answering any questions about the art of love as best he could for they generally revolved around Soma’s clumsy attempts at wooing Meena. “I’ve kissed many young boys in my old life.”
“Oh… Did you like kissing me?”
Agni paused, that was not what he had expected Soma to ask him. He answered truthfully, “Very much so, my prince.”
Soma’s blush deepened.
Agni sighed and looked around the peacock pavilion, anywhere but at Soma. He felt if he did, he would lose his resolve. He forced himself to. “Did you like it, my prince?”
Soma hesitated. He felt conflicted. Kissing Agni had stirred up stronger feelings than any he had for Meena. But ever since their first kiss, Soma had been dying to kiss Agni again and now that he had, it seemed to make things worse. “Yes…” he said. “Do you think we were lovers in another life, Agni?”
“It’s possible.”
“Do you love me?”
“Very much so, my prince.”
“Oh…”
“Come, let’s go back to the palace, it’s nearly lunch time.”
“Okay…” Soma smiled. Suddenly life with Agni was uncomplicated again.
