Title: An Invitation to a Party…

Summary: Soma enjoys himself at Lizzie’s party…
Warnings: Set before the events of chapter 66 of the manga.

Bard had been sent to London to get the two Indians for Lizzie’s Easter egg hunt and party and the next thing he knew, he was sitting in the kitchen, enjoying a warm and hearty breakfast thanks to Agni. It was so much nicer than what he had eaten before he left the manor house that he did not mind when they left to go upstairs to get the prince dressed in his finest. Whistling tunelessly, he reached over and helped himself to another curried kipper. Who knew they would taste better than it sounded…? he thought as he ate another spicy mouthful.

Upstairs in the prince’s bedroom, Agni had taken out several sherwani with the hope that Soma would quickly pick one to wear. They were excited about the party and could not wait to get there. And as luck would have it, Soma promptly settled on a pale blue silk that Lizzie had told him he looked nice in last time he wore it. Even better, the prince cooperated with getting dressed quickly, forgoing his usual attempts at seducing Agni back into bed for some sharing of kama. Once the prince was dressed, they headed back downstairs.

Bard quickly finished his breakfast, and after helping Agni clean up, he helped them into the carriage along with a change of clothing for tomorrow as they were staying overnight. He chuckled softly at the snatches of conversation that emanated from inside, a mix of English and Bengali. He smiled, thinking Ciel was lucky to have a girl like that, who could make everyone happy simply by throwing an impromptu party. Best of all he, and his fellow servants, Finny and Maylene, were also invited and he could not wait to get back to the manor house.

Soma loved wearing the bunny ears, especially since Lizzie had put them on his head. She also told him he looked cute in them, much to her brother’s annoyance. They enjoyed a moment together, facing each other and holding hands, laughing. Agni said their laughter was sweet music and the prince’s efforts to get her brother, Edward, to laugh were met with a cool stare. Undaunted, he was just about to ask Lizzie to explain Easter to him, when Ciel arrived with Sebastian in tow.

“You’re late, Ciel!” Soma cried as Lizzie squealed,” Finally!” The prince watched her run to him. Soma felt a tiny pang of jealousy, which he quickly squashed, when Lizzie threw her arms around her fiancé in a warm embrace.

“Why are they here?!” Ciel demanded.

“I thought we could celebrate Easter together,” Lizzie said.

“We have a different faith, but we can celebrate with you,” Agni quickly assured him.

“So? What is this Easter holiday?” Soma asked, prompting Sebastian to explain.

Lizzie finished up by explaining about Easter fashions and next thing the prince knew, he was dressed in a robin’s egg blue suit of English make courtesy of Nina Hopkins. Not that Soma minded as the woman flirted with him shamelessly much to everyone’s amusement and Ciel’s and Edward’s disgust. Maylene, on the other hand, seemed strangely relieved, which Soma thought was odd, seeing as Miss Hopkins adored her.

When the fun began, Soma and Agni eagerly joined in. They took the egg hunt very seriously. They were happy, instead of angry, when Ciel took advantage of Soma by faking an asthma attack and got him to drop his egg. The prince was pleased Ciel won, despite his cheating. It may not have been his holiday, but Soma still had a wonderful time.

Summary: Agni makes Soma a cup of warm milk…
Warnings: Mildly spoilerish for chapter 66 of the manga. Also mild boy’s love

Soma leaned against the kitchen counter while he waited for Agni to heat some milk up for him. It was late and everyone at the manor house was asleep, or settling in for the night, but the excitement of the day had the prince all wound up. “Miss Elizabeth’s Easter party was fun! I really liked the bunny ears and dressing in English clothing was fun.”

Agni nodded in agreement as he poured the warm milk into a teacup. “You looked very handsome, my prince, dressed like that.”

Soma blushed. “So did you, Agni.” He smiled.

“Enjoy, my prince,” Agni handed him the cup of milk.

“Thanks…” Soma sipped it.

Smiling impishly, Agni sang, “Soma baba, Soma baba, sleep, sleep, sleep my little baba…”

“Agni!” Soma chuckled.

“Finish up, my prince, and let’s go to bed.”

“I can’t believe they’re letting us stay together with Miss Elizabeth here.”

“Mister Sebastian told me that if she had asked, she would have been told it was because you are homesick and couldn’t sleep. Making you some warm milk was a coincidence that worked in our favor.”

“Oh…” Soma sipped his milk. “Wait! You planned this?”

Agni nodded. “Now if you’re good, my prince…” he trailed off, his voice getting low and husky.

“We can share kama?” Soma said with a smile.

“Yes, but you must be quiet.” Agni smiled at his beloved.

“Okay.” Soma, finishing the warm milk, set the teacup down. “Let’s go, Agni!”

“If that is what my prince desires, so shall it be…”
