Summary: Agni wakes Soma up…

Agni entered Soma’s bedroom, pushing the cart with his breakfast on it inside. It’s time to rise and shine as the English would say and greet the sun… He drew back the curtains, flooding the room in a warm glow. “Namaste-ji, my prince,” he said when he came over and gently shook Soma awake.
“Namaste-ji, Agni,” Soma murmured sleepily. He slowly opened his eyes and yawned. With Agni’s help, he was soon sitting up in bed, enjoying nice cup of chai. “Thanks…” he said when Agni put the breakfast tray on his lap.
“You’re welcome, my prince.” Agni smiled and bringing his hands together at his chest, he gave his beloved prince a slight bow of the head.
“What should we do today, Agni?’
“I thought perhaps you would enjoy a picnic in the park. I saw a poster advertizing a concert this afternoon. I remembered how much you enjoyed it last time we went.”
Soma nodded as he nibbled on his breakfast. “That sounds like fun, Agni.” He sipped his chai.
“Good, then after I tidy the townhouse and make us a picnic lunch, we can go.”
“Sounds like a plan.” Soma thought it over. “Would you like me to help you?”
Agni smiled. “Thank you, my prince, but there’s no need to. Just enjoy your breakfast and I’ll be back in a bit to take the tray and help you get dressed for the day.”
“Okay… See you later, Agni.” Soma smiled. While he enjoyed his meals better when Agni shared them with him, he knew the man had work to do. Having just woken up, Soma also was not bored enough to actually want to help Agni. He lingered over breakfast, waiting patiently for his beloved khansama to return and help him dress and face the day…
