It's snowing... ^^;

I'm out on Long Island & it is really coming down pretty heavy now! About 2 & 1/2 hours ago when I left work it was only sleeting with some big fat wet flakes. Now it's totally big fat wet flakes! o.0 I'm glad I filled up the bird feeders when I got home. The poor things look like they're starving out there! At one point it was so windy it was blowing the doves off the powerlines. ^^; I just hope we don't lose power again. XD

UPDATE!! We got about a foot of snow, we still have power & I'm going to go out & start digging out. ;p

It's looks gorgeous out there! But now I can't walk home form work until it melts. T.T There's no safe place to walk until then. Peeps are terribly lax about clearing their walkways & businesses don't care as long as they're clear in the parking lot.

I feel like I am in a vortex. It's not that bad here in Massapequa. Windy and a little bit snowy but I can still see grass.

Yeah? It looks like it stopped snowing, but it is windy! It's sooo pretty out; everything is covered in snow! We've got quite a bit of snow out there. Just be safe & keep warm! *huggles*

It is definitely windy here but Willow walked outside and it wasn't that deep just like maybe three inches...

*nods* yeah... I'm not sure how much snow we have, I haven't been outside since this afternoon when I got home from work & ran out back to fill the birdfeeders. It was about an inch or two back then. Who knwos what it is now? XD

Hey you. Hope you don't lose power over there! It's coming down here in the city, too. Not as big as an hour ago but I'm sure it'll pick up during the night. Glad to hear you got the birds up and running.

I kind of fail at this responsible adult thing - I went to the store for groceries last night and couldn't figure out why the lines were so long! Lol, everyone was stocking up on stuff for the storm.

XD I went this morning on the way to work. I didn't get much; I got milk the day before, so all I got was some rolls, a few prepackaged cold cuts & some soup. Our cooktop is an old, gas one with a pilot light, so if we do lose power, at least we can still cook. I have NEVER seen it so busy like it was this morning too. o.0
