Summary: Italy suggests the perfect gift for Japan…
For Jen…
Greece was in hopelessly in love with Japan and he craved his attention the way a starving man hungers for a decent meal. Since Japan was very romantic deep down inside, Greece felt a bit of old fashioned courting was the way to win his heart. The trouble was, he had no idea how to go about doing it.
Desperate for the happiness that companionship with the object of one’s desire can bring, Greece asked around as discreetly as he could during the World Conference’s lunch break to no avail. He was just going to have to figure this out on his own. Feeling powerless over his situation, Greece was beginning to resign himself to the fact that Japan would be nothing more in his life than a dear friend he saw every so often. He sighed.
“Hey, Sig. Grecia!” Italy called out as he sat down next to him.
“Hi.”
“What’s wrong? You look sad.”
Greece sighed. “I’m not sad, Italía, I’m just…” he trailed off, unable to put it words.
“You sound sad.” Italy smiled, hoping to cheer him up. “Is it cuz Sig. Giappone’s so busy? He’s got to work extra hard after that tsunami disaster.”
“I know...but I-”
“What?”
“I miss him and all the things we used to do togehter,” Greece finally admitted out loud. “I wish we were more than jsut friends,” he said softly.
“You need a cat!”
Greece laughed. “I have more than enough cats, Italía.”
“True, but you need to give him one; then he’ll know how much you like him!”
Greece blushed. “But…?”
“Every time he sees it, he’ll think of you and like you back! It worked for me and Germania!” Italy enthused. “It can’t hurt.”
“You’re right. Thank you, Italía.” Greece suddenly felt better about things.
“You’re welcome!”

Summary: Greece finds the perfect gift for Japan…
For Jen…
Greece spent the next three weeks looking for the perfect cat to give to his friend Japan as a courting present. Italy had been so insistent about it during the meeting, after they had gone back inside, that he was convinced it would work. If big, scary Germany, who loved dogs, could fall for a cat, then his sweet, little Japan was sure to as well.
He finally found the kitten just as he was about to give up all hope. She was curled up in a puddle of sunshine, purring softly. When Greece approached, she barely paid him any attention other than to purr loudly when he rubbed her cheek with the back of his finger. When he picked her up and she went limp in his arms, he knew right then she would be the perfect companion for his friend. Smiling happily, Greece carried her back to his house.
Arriving home, the little cat leapt from his arms and hurried inside his house. Small and lithe, she still had powerful muscles under her soft, white coat and she moved with a grace all her own. Greece was pleased she settled in nicely with his other cats and he hoped it remained that way until he could give her to Japan. The last thing he wanted to worry about was a huge catfight and a badly injured kitty.
Greece walked to kitchen cabinet, and opening the door, he asked, “Who’s hungry?”
A few dozen cats, along with his latest acquisition, hurried over to be fed. Greece dutifully fed them all, and while they were eating, he set to work, digging for “buried treasure” in the numerous litter boxes. Once he was done, he sat on the sofa and was soon joined by his feline friends for an afternoon nap.

Summary: Greece gives Japan his gift...
For Jen…
The day of Japan’s visit finally arrived and Greece was quivering with excitement and happiness. He loved it whenever his friend came to visit as it meant longs days spent in the countryside examining the ruins or lazy afternoons lying in bed and sleeping away the heat of the day, visiting museums or enjoying the nightlife in Athens. Then there were the cats. The two of them could easily spend a day lavishing attention on Greece’s feline companions.
They were like two little old cat-ladies, as America once put it, devoting all their time and energy to the felines under their care. Only a fellow cat-lover could understand just how strong the need and desire to own a couple of kitties was. It was like a powerful drug they hungered for and one habit that was easy to feed… until the cat-food ran out.
So when Japan finally arrived at Greece’s house, he was greeted with a hug and little ball of white fur.
“This is for you, Mr. Honda. Isn’t she adorable?”
“Very.” Japan smiled as he nuzzled the little kitten. “Thank you, Karpusi-san!”
“What are you going to call her?” Greece picked up his friend’s luggage and carried it inside. “I was calling her ‘Sunshine’ for want of a better name…”
“I think that’s the perfect name for her. She looks like a little beam of sunlight, ne?” Japan followed him into his home.
They sat on the sofa, catching up and bonding over the kitten. Greece was so happy he had listened to Italy and he could not wait for the next World 8 Meeting to tell him. For now, he was content to enjoy his friend’s company.

Summary: Austria and Switzerland spend the day skiing
Author’s note: This is my first time writing this as a pairing, so please forgive me if I got them wrong. ^^;
For Jen…
Even though they were cousins of sorts, the kind that was thrice removed or something like that, they barely paid each other any attention. It also did not help that Switzerland spent most of his time jealously guarding his neutrality and Lichtenstein, and that Austria tended to mind his own business, but occasionally they hungered for another’s presence, one that was familiar, yet at the same time foreign. Austria didn’t ski that often and he appreciated Switzerland’s invitation to come for a visit during the holidays.
They schussed down the slopes, enjoying the companionship of a fellow skier as well adding a competitive edge to things by seeing who could reach the bottom the fastest. They both loved the feeling of power they got from speeding across the fresh powder that had fallen the night before. Austria let out a whoop of happiness at narrowly beating Switzerland to the bottom. Face flushed from the cold and the adrenaline rush, he grinned at his cousin, who wore a matching one on his own face. “That was, to borrow a phrase from Prussia, awesome!”
Switzerland chuckled. “Yeah!”
“You want to go up again?”
“Nah, let’s go inside and celebrate your victory with a couple of Jägermeisters.”
Austria grinned. “Sounds like a plan to me.”
Switzerland snorted. “A very good one, I might add,” he said as they made their way back to the lodge for some après-ski.
Once inside, they regaled Lichtenstein with their war tales from the slopes as the Jägermeisters flowed. The cousins bonded despite their tendency to try and out-do one another, and plans were made for next year, when they would ask their German cousins and Italy to join them…

Bad-Touch-Tomato…
Romano lay back on the picnic blanket, the sun was warm on his face and his belly was full, and he was feeling rather sleepy. Spain was sitting off to the side, playing his guitar, and singing softly in Spanish. It was a typical summer afternoon, the mornings spent toiling in the fields, while the afternoons were spent sleeping away the heat. Dozing lightly, he barely paid any attention to his lover, so it took him a few minutes to realize that Spain had stopped singing, not that he cared.
Spain crawled over to his companion, fully intending to curl up beside him for a siesta, but there was something about Romano’s parted lips that stirred his desire. Moving to straddle his beloved’s hips, Spain leaned forward to kiss him. Romano surprised him, by wrapping his arms around him, and hungrily returning his kiss. Spain could not have been happier. He loved it when Romano would take charge during their lovemaking, finding it a powerful aphrodisiac. “You want to make love here, mi Pequeño Tomate?”
“What do you think, Tomato-bastard?” Romano felt his cheeks heating up.
Spain smiled. “I think I desire you with all my heart and soul,” he huskily replied. He kissed him again.
Breaking the kiss, Romano said, “Then shut up and let’s do it.” He tugged Spain’s shirt free of his pants to underscore his words.
“Yes, Boss!” Spain sat up and removed his shirt. He moaned softly when Romano ran his hands up his sides.
“And get your fat ass off me too!”
Spain chuckled as he did what he was bidden. A few minutes later, they were both naked and entwined in each other’s arms. Their lovemaking was slow and lazy the way they liked it. Afterwards, they dressed and slept the afternoon away…

Summary: Belarus and Russia have a love/hate relationship of sorts…
Author’s note: This came about as a result of enjoying n0t-again’s twisted love story between America & Russia.
For n0t-chan…
Belarus narrowed her eyes as she stared at her brother, Russia. She hungered for his attention and companionship in the same twisted way he craved friendship with and power over those he encountered. It did not matter in the least who they were, as she had seen him suck up to that obnoxious Prussia, when he lived in her brother’s house, as well as that idiot, America, her brother’s sworn mortal enemy. She couldn’t figure why that desperate need, so like her own, would make him happy.
She tried puzzling it out as she honed her knife, but got nowhere fast. It was not like she could even ask him. Her brother was terrified of her unlike that moron, Lithuania, who chased after her despite repeated attempts, often violent, to persuade him not to. She sighed softly as she ran the razor sharp edge across the ball of her thumb. Belarus smiled at the blood that beaded up. Placing her thumb against her lips, she licked it off.
Russia watched her, a terrified expression on his face. He was bigger and stronger than her, and quite possible a degree or two more insane, and yet, his sister could turn him into a quivering pile of jelly with just one of her dark looks. The things he had done to her in their shared past to push her away and make her hate him, only served to make her cling all the tighter to him. He shivered when she caught and held his gaze, her dark eyes boring deep into his violet ones. She smiled briefly at him and he chuckled nervously.
“I love you, brother…” Belarus purred as she came over to him.
Russia nodded. He could do without her love. When she eventually left, he sighed heavily in relief.

Date: 2013-03-25 12:51 pm (UTC)4. I love the skiing fic - secretly I've always wanted to write Switzerland and Austria but they just don't want to cooperate! And having them drink Jaegermeister - funny! I could totally see Switzerland drinking Austria under the table... because Jaeger is an EVIL thing in the best possible way. Loved the camaraderie :) Would positively LOVE to see a Prussia/Germany/Italy vs. Austria/Switzerland/Liechtenstein wacky winter games competition! That'd rock my toe socks... XD
5. Go Romano - whoohoo! Picnic sex is a wonderful thing, yes it is! XD
6. LOL - How hilarious! Poor Russia - she is scary! Thank you so much - I LOVE it! :D *happy dance*
Russia = scary + lovable
Belarus = scary + terrifying
Such a family...! Ukraine must be adopted XD

Date: 2013-03-25 01:38 pm (UTC)Tell me about it!! They're very tight-lipped when it comes to letting me know what they're up too. I think those Jaegermeisters helped loosen them up a bit. ;p *laughs* That would be soooo funny! I can see Prussia wiping out & taking Austria with him & declaring himself the winner, cuz he broke more bones than that "prissy old fool"! ;p When I finish my angst table, I'm going to snag the random one & do Prussia again with requests, so if I can get it to work, I'll try writing that for you. :D
*nods* Oh yeah!! ;p (I secretly think it's the lil things like that that has Romano still living in Spain's house, despite him having given up being his boss like YEARS ago. ;p)
Thanks! :D I know, right?! XD You're welcome! It's my pleasure and the least I could do for all the wonderful ficcage you've written for me! *huggles*
*laughs* That is sooo true!! The poor dear probably is. XD
