I'm doing another switch around meme with a friend at DA. This time we're drawing our OCs. I decided ti draw Bernd for it. :D I sketched him out, then I needed to color him in so the person adding color had a ref pic.

Thanks! He appears in some of my stories along with a character called "Amber." He's actually a tow-headed blond, who dyed his hair pink to be different. :D

Me too. Sometimes when I'm stuck for one, I pick a song title, ether a fave song, one that inspired the fic, or one from that era.

Your fic is very much Temple's story, or at least that's what it felt like form the bits I had read, so maybe something that reflects him would work.

Gosh, he looks so very young! And you did a phenomenal job with the skin tones! Very nice - he looks quite softer than I imagined; for some reason, given his prickly, fragile emotional state, I saw him as more sharp featured; almost gaunt, almost haunted. Your rendition gives him an optimism that is very endearing - like you can't help hoping for the best for him or hoping he doesn't give up and lose that softness despite the difficulties. Very nice job, Kira! :D

He's young here, I'd say, like 17, 18.

*BLUSHES* Thanks! Yeah, he is rather fragile, but his love for Amber helps keep him grounded & hopeful even in his darkest hours. You can still count all his ribs, but he probably never will be fat, even when he's old & grey. XD
