They stopped at the Quicki-Mart, looking for snacks. Dean somehow ended up in front of a condom display. He snorted, a ghost of a smile tugging at his lips. Reaching for the Trojan’s, the memory came flooding back…
“Shoplifting, Dean?” John raked his hand through his hair, his anger dissipating. “Son, I don’t know whether to be angry or proud… Stealing rubbers…” His father sighed. “Who is she?”
“She’s just some girl at school, Dad…”
“Be sure you treat her right, Dean....”
“Dean, you ready?”
“Coming, Sammy!” Dean hurried over to the register, his memory and the Trojans left behind.
