Dean came back with the cheese burgers to find Sammy hiding in bed. When he uncovered him, Sammy burst into tears and wailed something about a scary face. It took Dean several minutes to get Sammy calm enough to tell him what was wrong. Sighing softly, Dean walked over to the Jack o’ Lantern and switched off the flashlight.
“You gonna kill?”
Dean nodded. “Come on, Sammy.”
They got their coats and walked down the block to the vacant lot, where Dean salted the pumpkin and set it on fire. Sammy clung tightly to him as they watched it burn.
