“Here,” Dean plunked a small confection down in front of Castiel. “Happy… Angel Day or something.” Embarrassed, he grimaced in a way that the angel found adorable.

“Yeah,” Sam chimed in.

Castiel frowned.

Dean came to the rescue. “I have two more, Cas, so eat up.” He grinned and handed a cupcake to his brother, before sitting down at the kitchen table.

“Oh. Happy Angel Day,” Castiel said as he reached for the cupcake. Peeling the paper, he took a bite. “It’s good.” Castiel finished it.

“Yeah.”

Sam got up and handed Castiel the box of cupcakes. “Enjoy!”

He did.
