Today's challenge is a pic of what I wore today. Since I can't find the camera, you'll have to settle for me just telling you. So when I woke up this morning, I had on my pink jammies, black panties, & a white sweat socks. After taking off my jammies & socks, I put on a nude color bra, black socks,my black yoga pants, a black long sleeved t-shirt & my black work shirt & my black work clogs. After work I changed my clothes & put on a dark grey t-shirt tunic & black jeggings & my black boots. See? I told you I wear a lot of black. ;p

That's definitely something you and my baby have in common. ;)

Wearing so much black. I went through it once myself, too, but for me, it was just a phase during my Goth days. Now I like my colors and even my skirts, and I NEVER wanted to wear a dress or skirt before.

Aaah... I like wearing skirts, but I rarely do as I'm basically dressing up to stay home. XD Colors are nice & I do wear them, mostly paired with black, except for my tie-dye stuff, which looks better paired with blue. The mostly black stuff is from wearing black at work. I feel like since I started out in black, I might as well continue. XD

I'm just the opposite when it comes to my work clothes. I hate khaki already. There's no way I'd wear it more often! The first thing I do when I come home is start stripping; there are days I start the very moment I come through the door.

I don't dress up for anybody, which is something I recently had to explain to Drew when she wanted to know why I was so badly wanting a new outfit for going to her VA appointment in our local big city. It wasn't because I was concerned about how I would look. I knew I'd be tired that day and wanted to feel better. Looking my best always helps me to feel better, which is saying a lot some days.

Awe... *huggles* But khaki isn't black, so I can understand not wanting to live in it. XD *nods* I do change out of my work clothes when I get home too. It's nice NOT being reminded of work. ;p

Me too. If I want to get dressed up, I dress up; if not, I don't. I get why you'd want something new & comfy that felt good to be in. Sometimes, even if it's just a plain old t-shirt from the clearance rack, having something new can brighten your spirits. :D

I hope you're feeling better! *HUGGLES*

It's touch and go, hon, to be honest, as it is for most of us. Every day brings its own challenges, memories, and moments to bring us closer to our grieving selves. For the most part, I just try to stay busy and not think about it. That's why I manage to get so many words lately! And why this forced overtime at work is a good thing. (Or so I keep telling myself.)

As much as I love finding new clothes I like, that fit me, and that I can afford, finding them on clearance is even better!!

*huggles* Yeah... *sighs* It's about all you can do. Writing is good!! And overtime is also good!! (Think of the big paycheck!! :D)

The clearance rack when you find something awesome that fits, looks good, & at for practically nothing, is the BEST! :D
