Lucifer, despite being happy to be back in his favorite vessel after months of vessel-hopping, thought back on some of ones he had “borrowed.” The president was fun, the rock star was cool, and then there was the crazy old cat lady. She had had a ton of cats. Everything from tabbies, to calicos, to bald sphinxes and fluffy Persians, if it could be called a cat she had it. While most gave him a wide berth as if they knew he wasn’t the old lady, there was an old orange tabby who loved to sit in his lap and purr, which he liked more than he thought he would.
