Bobby lit a fire in the old fireplace and stood up. It was one of the things Karen had loved about the place and when he thought about it so did the boys when they were little. He chuckled softly as sat in his favorite chair. Memories of toasting marshmallows in the flames, with Karen and later the boys, came flooding back. Bittersweet ones of Karen wanting kids and her death gradually became fond ones of watching the boys grow up. Bobby basked in the warmth of the fire and his memories. Picking up a book, he began to read.
