This looked like a lot of fun so... peek under the cut.

How old are you? 33 (I'll be 34 in Oct.)

Tattoos? Does an old amalgam tattoo from a filling when I was a kid count?

Ever hit a deer? No.

Ridden in an ambulance? Twice; once from a car accident, the other when I got burned at work. XD

Sang karaoke? Only once.

Ice skated? Many times. The hardest was ice skating on a cruise ship, cuz of the subtle movement of the ship.

Ridden a motorcycle? Kinda. In high school, I was friends with a guy who had what we called a monkey bike (a small motorcycle).

Stayed in hospital? never stayed over, but I've visited peeps in the hospital.

Skipped school? Senoir year in HS, I had 22 cuts in one semester. XD I was in danger of not graduating. XD (mainly cuz I *gasp* cut gym. XD)

Last phone call? I called my Dad at work.

Last text from? My new supervisor so I'd have her phone number in my contacts.

Watched someone die? No as that would be too SAD.

Pepsi or coke? I don't really drink soda, & if I was going to have some, I'd rather have ginger ale or Sprite/7up/Sierra Mist.

Favorite Pie? Pumpkin & also apple.

Favorite pizza? Cheese.

Favorite season? Winter. :D

Broken bones? Let's see... my foot, my nose, a finger, & I swear I broke my leg in that aforementioned car accident. Doc had issues reading the x-ray & decided it was just bruised & not broken. XD Stupid me PAINFULLY walked around on it. XD

Received a ticket? One ticket for allegedly running a stop sign, >.>

Sunset or sunrise? Having seen both at the same beach, I have to say both are beautiful in their own way. :D

ginger ale is about the only pop I like (root beer too)

I especially like it when I'm sick but if I have to have pop I cross my fingers there's ginger ale or root beer (i.e. stuff brewed from roots apparently is my jam)

It's good as it's not too sweet. I usually get that whenever I'm flying. Given a choice, I'd rather drink ice tea.

Kira-chan, I had an ER doc tell me my foot wasn't broken and that one of the toes was dislocated. I had broken two toes and two metatarsals. LMAO I went to a podiatrist with the x-rays and he was like yeah WTF aren't you in a boot?

Date: 2019-01-23 02:42 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
OUCH!! I swear ER docs don't know what they're doing. I hurt my hand at work & my doc was leaving for the day & had me go to the ER. They x-rayed it, thought it could be broken (it luckily wasn't according to the orthopedist), so they gave me a soft cast, which was basically a splint & an ace bandage. They had wrapped it so tightly, I had pressure sores between my fingers. XD They had to cut it off the next day at the orthopedist's. So between that & my leg, I totally believe it when they told you "nothing was wrong." I guess they decided to cut "broken bones 101", ne? ;P

I'm with you on the soda, and especially not Cola, I really don't care for it!

*nods* I do enjoy the odd glass of cherry coke. XD But given a choice, I'd rather go with the Sprite type soda.

That is a lot of broken bones

It's not as hard as you think. You do have muscle & balance memory, which helps. Plus I wasn't figure skating(don't know how XD), although it had been YEARS since I had last skated. That's really tough to do on "land" never mind at sea, but they did have performers who did that in a show.

Yeah. XD Luckily, they weren't broken at the same time. XD

I drink water about 99% of the time, but I occasionally need something different. Then it’s either a small glass of root beer (my personal favorite) or Dr. Pepper. If it’s cold, a hot cup of peppermint tea is just the thing! If it’s hot, I sometimes like chocolate milk. Usually, though, no matter the weather, it’s ice water all the way.

Also, I HATED gym in school. It and any sort of math were torture for me.

That's good. I prefer a lil tea with my water. ;P I never really got into root beer, but the odd glass of Dr Pepper is good! :D

I like Rooibos tea & green ice tea. :D And whatever tea they make in Chinese restaurants. XD Chocolate milk is a good "pick-me-up" when I'm hungry & don't feel like eating, or if I'm at work & don't want cereal. Drinking water is the best for you. I like water when they soak fruit in it, so the water gets a bit fruity. :D

yeah? Me too! XD

Tea is definitely good! Root beer seems to be an acquired taste. Some people love it and some don’t. It means more for those of us who enjoy it! XD

I’ve been known to occasionally substitue a glass of orange juice for a proper breakfast if I’m feeling too lazy to find something. Water may be beast, but it can sure get boring sometimes! Oh, I love fruity water! It’s water, but with a bit of flavor to it, so you can’t go wrong there.

At least I’m not the only one! XD

From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
*nods* And I only put milk in it unless it's Chinese or Green tea, so relatively lo-cal too! :D I think that's what it is. XD Yup! :D

Tea's my first breakfast & then I come home & have cereal. XD (Unless I'm away & there's free breakfast, then I have oatmeal, muffin,& yogurt. XD (I also like to grab a yogurt or 2 for a snack in the room & throw it in the mini fridge.)Yeah, which is why I think I enjoy it sooo much whenever I'm really THIRSTY. It's "new" so really quenches it. When I was in Israel, the one hotel gave us lemonade every time yo walked in. :D That was sooo GOOD, that I still remember it. XD I wish you could get bottled fruity water that wasn't fizzy & didn't taste like diet soda. I'd buy if I saw it. XD

Yup! :D

I never put milk in mine. XD I like mine with a little Truvia in it for a hint of sweetness, but that’s it. I don’t care about the calories (I’m the sort of person who’ll gleefully have a brownie for breakfast, so... yeah XD) but regular sugar makes it a bit too sweet and nothing at all makes it eh. I only have tea at home so I can have it just the way I like it. I’m picky with my tea. XD

XD (You can’t go wrong when you’re somewhere and they have free breakfast!) I usually don’t have any snacks in the room (unless it’s a driving vacation) since the only time I’m in the room is for a shower and sleeping. XD Having something cool to drink whenever you walk into a hotel sounds really nice! I’ve never had bottled fruity water, but if it tastes like diet soda, I think I’ll skip it.

Aaah... I'm milk no sugar, except for chai which needs just a pinch to bring out the spices. :D Me too. XD I had a cinnamon roll for breakfast today. :P We all have our tastes and there's nothing wrong with that. I prefer to make my own tea too, if I can. Sometimes when they put milk in it before it really has a chance to brew, it tastes more like warm milk than tea. XD

Nope! :D It depends on what I'm doing & why I'm in the hotel, besides the obvious. XD If I know I'm going to out running around & could miss lunch, snacks are good for that. Or if I'm away somewhere like at a con, where it's hard to find cheap eats, snacks help save money, so dinner can be a bit nicer. It was nice! Even the "help yourself" fruity water was nice on a hot day. That's simply water, with chunks of fruit in it. It somehow makes the water taste like the fruit. So if there's apples in it, it'll have a bit of an apple taste. Please, if it tasted like diet anything, I don't want it as I hate the chemical taste too. :D

It silly how some people think that everyone who doesn’t like/eat/whatever exactly what they do is WROOOOONG. I mean, honestly. It doesn’t hurt me that you like milk in your tea and it doesn’t hurt you that I like root beer. We’re mature and reasonable enough to understand that, but some people would be flipping out and having fits. The way I see it? More milk for tea for you and more root beer for me! XD Aw. You wanted tea with a bit of milk, not milk with a bit of tea! XD

Whenever I’m staying at a hotel, I’m rarely there, but if I have a backpack or something big enough with me, I will more than likely have snacks in there for eating while I’m out and about. A girl’s got to have her snacks, especially if I’m not planning to stop until dinner time! And, like you said, they are definitely convenient if you’re somewhere that food is too expensive!

It sounds like it was nice! I haven’t had actual fruity water in ages, but I like mine with oranges. XD And I love apples, so I’d be all over that. I just have to avoid strawberries since they tend to make me sick to my stomach. Yeah, diet anything is pretty nasty tasting to me. Definitely best to avoid it!

I know right? That's why I find YouTube comments sooo amusing. ;D It really doesn't hurt anyone in the least that you like root beer & I like tea with milk. It gets really intense with "ships." I really don't care that you like those two characters together, instead of the ones the author paired up. All I ask is that you don't call your pairing canon when it's not & you don't shove your pairing down my throat when I don't like it, or can't see it ever happening, especially when the author has said their pairing is the one that's meant to be. XD I could tell you stories, but I won't.

If it's a family vaycay, I definitely won't be there, so snacks are a must. Even when I go to a con, I like them as sometimes you just gotta have a SNACK. ;D Being out until dinner, or like today, we went to see the wild seals at the beach & we stopped to grab a snack as we kinda had a rushed breakfast & would have a late lunch. Since nothing's open on the beach now a snack was a must. :D

It was! Very refreshing on a hot summer's day! :D Yeah? Orange water sounds tasty! :D You'd probably enjoy it then! :D I have to watch with them too as I'm allergic to them. XD Yup!

Sometimes YouTube comments just make me shake my head. I understand being devoted to what you like and thinking it’s awesome and amazing, but some people really need to learn that not everyone shares their taste. It’s crazy how many people seem to be absolutely rabid when it comes to their opinions and those in fandoms can be some of the of the worst offenders, especially when it comes to shipping. And the ones that think they know better than the author themselves! That drives me insane. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with thinking the Character A and Character C are a better pairing than Characters A and B, but just because that’s what they prefer doesn’t make it official. If Characters A and B are together in the source material, then that’s how it’s supposed to be! Some people seem convinced that their denial and insistence otherwise will make things different.

There are ALWAYS snacks involved in family vacations, so that’s when there will be snacks in the room. (And probably in my bag if I have one. XD They keep everyone happy and manageable!) Sometimes, snacks are just an absolute must! Oh, seeing the seals sounds like so much fun! I’m so jealous! It definitely sounds like a day when snacks are a must!

I imagine it was! Oh, it’s very tasty! :D I’m sure I would! Strawberries just best avoided altogether for us. XD

Date: 2019-02-06 03:43 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
Me too, but I can't help finding them amusing the more rabid they get. XD Please, there amount of peeps who think their opinions are the ONLY CORRECT ONES to have is as insane as they are. XD Exactly, the ones who think they know better than the creator of the source material when it comes to shipping are usually the most rabid and LOUD when it comes to voicing their opinions. XD

Same here. You definitely need them, whether it's a lil bit of candy, or chips, or soda, or cookies, or favorite tea. :D Exactly! It was fun and so was seeing ice in the water at the beach. XD No matter how hot outside it is, the sea always feels like the water is ice cold to me. XD So the ice made it that much more special. XD

*nods* Awesome!! Yeah? XD Yup! XD

Date: 2019-02-06 04:39 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
I know what you mean. XD It’s ridiculous and they need to learn that they’re opinions aren’t more important than those of others, but they can be really amusing! What the really rabid ones seem incapable of doing is putting themselves in someone else shoes. How would they feel if they created something and people started going, “You’re WRONG!!! My preferred pairing is the REAL one! I don’t care that they’re your characters because I know better than you!!!!!” and then refused to understand that they don’t get any say in the way things go? They wouldn’t like it at all, but they don’t seem capable of thinking like that.

Definitely! The only problem? So many snacks, so little time! XD I wish I could have seen that! It sounds really neat. And it sounds special, too!

XD

*nods* Most peeps online can't put themselves in someone else's shoes. They say the most horrid things to each other over a stupid difference of opinion that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. You're right; they wouldn't like it at all, so they spew more hate. It's sooo sad.

*laughs* Yup! :D I wish you could too as it's really bizarre. Yeah, it's freezing out & therefore there should be ice in the bay (we were on the bay side, & didn't go down to the ocean side. The bay side, however, still has a beach; it's just smaller), but a part of your brain is like "there can't be ice at the beach!!" XD It's really cool (no pun intended XD).

From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
People are just ridiculous sometimes, especially the ones who feel safety in the anonymity that comes with being online. So many of them spew things that they would probably never say if they weren’t hidden behind a screen, but it just shows what sort of people they really are. If everyone would learn how to put themselves in the shoes of others, maybe it wouldn’t be so toxic. Opinions are one thing, but being unnecessarily nasty is entirely different.

:D My brain would probably be trying to make sense out of it. Considering the time of year, it’s logical that there would be ice in the water, but it would still be so off putting to see it from a beach, no matter how cold it is. It just doesn’t seem right! XD

From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
Tell me about it. We really need to stop being online so much & reconnect with each other face to face. Yeah, it would make online friendships hard, and I would miss you & my other online friends, but in the long run, I think it woudl be good for everyone who spends any time online. It might help them remember that there's real peeps out there & just cuz you have anonymity online, real peeps feelings can be hurt and often over the stupidest things. XD Being nasty for no reason other than "I can, cuz no one knows it's me" is stupid.

Exactly!! But after your brain fries for a minute or two... It realizes that it's actually pretty cool. :D

Date: 2019-02-08 05:11 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
I agree! I would greatly miss you, but I think it’s good for everyone to take a break from being online and live in the real world for a while. Maybe it would remind some people how to be decent to others if they found themselves actually face-to-face with people. Besides, fresh air and sunshine are good for you! (But only when the weather is nice. When it’s freezing, going outside is way too overrated as far as I’m concerned! XD ) Exactly! Behind the screen, they seem to forget that there are actual real, live people on the other end and feeling CAN be hurt. It really is stupid, but a ridiculous number of people do it anyway.

:D

*nods* Awe... *huggles* It really is! I'm glad I get out & go to work & talk to people & go shopping & talk to people & I always try to be nice, cuz you get more out of life when you're nice than not. :D It sooo is!! :D (It's okay when it's cold, as long as it's just cold & not cold & damp. XD) I know, right? I guess it's easy to forget there's a person on the other end of one's comments, but still, those things can get read by others & then you look like an ass for making those nasty comments, when taking a moment to chill & think, you'd maybe hopefully refrain from making them...? Or am I hoping too much? XD

:D

Yeah, being able to get out and interact with people face to face is a good thing. Some people need to be reminded that there are other people besides just themselves and that not everyone is going to cater to them, the latter of which I’m almost 100% positive some people actually have the tendency to forget. For today, getting out of the house is overrated. It’s cold and raining, so I’m not going anywhere unless it’s an absolute necessity. On days like this, it’s okay to be a hermit. XD I know! And when you’re online leaving a comment, you can go back and read it before sending. That gives everyone a chance to edit and make certain they don’t come across as a complete ass before posting. People seem incapable of realizing such things. That or they just don’t care. Either way, I think asking them to consider what they post is probably asking too much. XD

Yup! I know, right? It really sad too. Tjhat's the worst weather cpmbo. Here it wasn't too bad, just clear & cold, but you could brave it in lil bits with just a hoodie instead of your coat. Yup! I'd be a hermit too. XD Yeah! I aklways double check what I'm saying, & if it could be taken the wrong way, I reword it, or try to explain what I mean or that I'm not ragging on the other person. Tell me about it. XD Probably don't care since "no one" knows who they are online. Probably. *sighs*

It really is sad, but I guess it is what it is. I hate it when it’s both cold and raining! It isn’t too bad when a hoodie is enough to keep you comfortable, but if you can only handle it in bits, then it’s too cold for me. XD I always think about what I’m going to say and if I think it might come across badly, I read over, make edits, and keep on that way until I’m satisfied. And if I still think it might not come across exactly like I mean, I apologize ahead of time and explain that I’m not sure if it’s coming across the way I want it to. People wouldn’t like it if someone was rude to them, so they shouldn’t be rude to others. Treating others how you want to be treated seems to be beyond some people’s ability to understand.

Date: 2019-02-16 05:15 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
Yeah... *sighs* Me too! Yeah? XD That's what normal people who realize being online & "talking" to others there, is really no different than talking face to face, do. Exactly! There's really no reason for anyone to be rude to another person. If we all treated each other nicely, maybe the would & cyber space would be a nice place. Sadly & unfortunately, that's true. *sighs*

Date: 2019-02-17 10:09 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
For me, talking online is the ultimate opportunity to make sure you don’t say anything too ridiculous. You can actually look at what you’re saying, edit, and then send once it’s as close to perfect as it can be. Talking face-to-face can sometimes result in the mouth moving faster than the brain. *occasionally has issues with that* I feel exactly the same way. It’s not going to happen since people feel like they can just say whatever since they’re hidden behind the computer, but it would be so nice if people learned how to be polite and kind to one another.

Date: 2019-02-18 12:47 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
Yup! It's easier too as you can take your time & think about what you're saying. *nods* Me too! XD *nods again & sighs* Yeah... which is a pity. Hopefully those don't think before they type, start thinking and soon! We really need more online kindness & less arseholery!

Date: 2019-02-18 02:06 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
Exactly! I love being able to take my time and think about what I want to say. I’m not the best when it comes to speaking with people face-to-face, so being able to fully consider what I want to say is amazing and I try to take full advantage of it. I just think it’s too bad that there are so many people out there who don’t bother to take advantage of the opportunity. We really do need a lot more kindness online, but I’m not going to hold my breath. Too many people are too set in their rude, nasty ways.

Date: 2019-02-19 01:24 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
*nods* Sometimes it's very hard to talk to someone face to to face, which makes taking your time to think about what you want to say & how to say it too, really important. That's the sad reality. Too many peeps think that "rule" applies to everyone else in the universe except them. XD Think of how great it would be if we all took a minute a minute out of day to be kind to one another, both in real life as well as online. I bet if peeps did it more in real life, then when they're online, they wouldn't even have to think about it; they'd already be kind from all the "practice."

Date: 2019-02-19 10:48 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
If only people would realize what an opportunity talking online offers! Even if you’re bad at talking to people in real life or if you always seem to say the wrong thing, being online gives you the amazing opportunity to get it as right as can be. You get to play with the wording, edit, re-think, and all the good stuff you don’t really get to do in an actual conversation. Because of that, there is absolutely no excuse for rudeness or cruelty. I know what you mean. They always think they’re the exception! XD It would be absolutely amazing if people would do that, but too many people are too set in their ways and, sadly, it just won’t happen

Date: 2019-02-21 12:07 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
You are sooo right! You can even read the reply, sit back & let it mellow before answering, unlike in real life, where one needs to respond right away. XD There really isn't, but sadly some peeps are simply bullies & others have been bullied, so they just carry on with the bulliness (is that even a word? XD) simply cuz they can get away with it. *sighs* Yup! It really is sad it'll never happen. *sighs*

Date: 2019-02-23 12:30 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
Exactly! I’ve spoken to people online in the past who have riled me up and I just let myself calm down before writing out a response. Doing that meant that I didn’t snap at them, which I might have done if we had been talking face-to-face. Being able to wait has helped on occasions! XD Some people seem to feel the need to be nasty, no matter what. It’s sad, but there’s no changing it. (If bulliness wasn’t a word before, I say it needs to be!)

Date: 2019-02-23 01:03 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kiramaru7.livejournal.com
*nods* Plus, you can't be sure online if the person really means what they're saying. Things like sarcasm get lost, cuz you can't HEAR their tone of voice, nor can you see if they're upset & just reacting without thinking cuz of something totally unrelated to your convo. So stepping back & calming down & not snapping back at others is a good thing that real life convos don't have. That's the sad part & I'll never understand why they feel the need to be nasty since it takes roughly the same amount of time to type something nice. (Thanks!)

Date: 2019-02-25 01:10 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] prismatika27.livejournal.com
Very true. That’s something a lot of people seem to forget. Someone gets upset over something that’s been said and suddenly it’s “I was joking! Don’t you know sarcasm when you see it?!” Umm... Sarcasm doesn’t translate online well at all. How about you take a bit of time to think of a replay that WILL translate properly rather than one that just makes you look like a jerk? (Or, which I think happens often, stop calling it sarcasm when someone calls you out on it when it wasn’t meant to be sarcastic in the first place.) I have come to the conclusion that some people are just naturally frustrating and never learned how to filter themselves in the first place. (You’re welcome!)

*nods* You nailed it! That's exactly what happens right before they start calling each names & cursing each other out. XD Seriously, people. XD Despite all that, occasionally, you will stumble upon that rare bird, who'll apologize & tell the other person they don't want to fight. *sighs* Sadly, that's the person you most often encounter online. XD
