Summary: Cas wonders why humans don’t like bees, until he learns the hard way…

Castiel could not understand why humans did not like bees. He thought they were cute with their fat, furry bodies and he loved how industrious they were. That led to thoughts about honey, which reminded him how they would flit from flower to flower in their search for nectar and how they were great pollinators. They also made wax, which humans found useful. He tried explaining that to Dean on numerous occasions to no avail.
He sighed softly at Dean, who was hopping around and flailing his arms at the poor bees, not to mention shouting and cursing at them. Sure their stings hurt, but they needed to protect themselves from harm and that was no excuse to treat them like that. “HEY!” Castiel cried when a bee stung him. Suddenly Dean’s actions made a lot more sense, especially when two more bees stung him.
