Foot update

I got the soft cast off (YAY! I can finally wash my foot with soap & water again!) & it's not hurting as bad as it was, & I can wear my sneakers instead of that funky shoe/boot. :D The rain isn't really helping as it's a bit achy, but I can deal with that. :D So we're calling it healed. I did kinda walked around on it for a month, before it got too swollen & painful to ignore, but if it acts up again, I'll need an MRI. (And probably more time in the shoe/boot. XD)

I missed where you got injured, but I hope that this is the end of the boot! I confess I rarely wore mine aside from on the couch as the dogs kept jumping on my legs when I was propped there.

I had a stress fracture in my right foot that I walked around on for like a month before I went to the doctor. XD I went last week & he said that's what it was & when I went back today, since it wasn't bothering me (apparently the boot helped a lot), he said I didn't need it anymore & to wear sneakers for the next few weeks. He did say if it started bothering me again to come back for an MRI. I'm just happy to get the soft cast off. :D

Awe... the puppers were checking up on you to make sure you were okay! Sweet lil Things! <3

Oh yeah, I did something similar before with a broken baby toe/metatarsal where I walked around for a bout a week before my partner pleaded for me to get it looked at (and then they basically said ice/aspirin and wear a soft cast when needed, which was what I was already doing). xD

The puppers always liked to "help" with everything.

*nods* I had slipped in the tub (& nearly killed myself)& jammed my toes into the side of it. I woke up with a purple toe that I buddy taped to the one next to it, got a doctor's appointment & went for an X-ray, where I was told to keep doing what I'm doing for a week or two & then I'm good to go. ;P I now have a toe that's not straight like the others, but at least it helps get me where I need to go along with the rest of my foot. ;P It's really truly amazing what one can put up with as things mostly heal on their own with lil interference. That's not to say, you shouldn't get things checked out as sometimes you do need something more than "carry on what you're doing" for X amount of time. Peeps have been doing that for AGES so yeah. XD
