kira is a bunny granny

Today, we discovered what I had thought all along: my "pet" wild bunny Ginger was pregnant! I don't know how many babies she originally had, but several weeks ago she had had babies or baby. We saw her last month making a nest in the corner of the yard, but that was abandoned. Apparently, she had them closer to our house, under a huge azalea bush that had greenery growing around the bottom of it. We saw her around dinner time, munching on some leaves, before she hopped closer to that azalea. Next thing we see is a tiny lil bunny nursing off her. After a few minutes, she stopped nursing the lil booger & hopped away, followed by her baby! <3 The baby wanted more, but Ginger wasn't having it, and the baby hopped after her, eventually hopping past & ending up in the other corner of our backyard where Ginger hides/sleeps. :D It won't be long before the baby, I've named Sugar, is weaned. *sighs* They grow up sooo FAST! *feels like a proud granny* Anyways, Dad took some pix & as soon as I get them, I'll post them. :D

Mine too! I was like "OMG!! She's nursing a baby!! Quick get the camera!!" XD It was amazing! And last night when Sugar wanted to nurse, Ginger kept moving away & interrupting it & once she put her paws on Sugar & Sugar let out the cutest squeak! XD I'm wondering if she's pregnant again, cuz when we first saw her make the nest for Sugar, another rabbit appeared. I think they can get pregnant again, after having babies. o.0 So we'll see. We might have a bunny factory going on in our backyard. XD

I'll let Dad know you said that! :D He's the photographer in the family. :D Tell me about it! o.0 I saw Ginger this morning when I got home from work & she was looking a bit plump. XD I also saw a couple of young bunnies chasing each other & running around in a circle. I had to chase them away as I needed to go to work & I was afraid of running them over. XD

that's a lot of bunny here at the parents I have the deer babies to worry about. They like to come see what's what

Thanks! It's a canon. He's away so I can't ask which model, but I think it's one of the older ones.

Awesomeness!! My Auntie said there were baby deer in her yard the other day when I spoke to her. I guess it's fawning season. XD (bunny too!)
