Summary: Shell found at the Jones Beach Marina
Author’s Note: While out at the marina, looking for ducks and other birds to take pix of, I wandered around the dock and saw a shell in the grass when I walked along the wall. There’s like a retaining wall by the dock and on top is a small park-like area with a few tables and a gazebo, there’s also a small parking lot, and lots of grass and native plants that attract wild birds. Anyways, I saw the shell, whipped out my phone and took a picture of it. I think a gull found it and dropped it there, since there's a small beach at the end of the dock. (You can't get there from the dock as it's fenced off.)
