Prompt: Hallmark channel Christmas movies
Fandom: original
Characters: Tino, Didi
Word count:202
Rating: G

“What’s today’s movie?” Tino asked. He sat down on the sofa, next to his husband Didi. He moved over and set the big bowl of popcorn, he was carrying, down in the space between them.
“Let me check,” Didi said. He pulled out his phone and did a quick search of Hallmark Channel’s site. “Falling Like Snowflakes. It’s about a photographer who’s looking to photograph a twelve-sided snowflake. She gets her childhood friend to help. And they have an adventure they’ll never forget.”
“Sounds good!” Tino grabbed a handful of popcorn as the movie started.
Didi also helped himself to some popcorn.
They watched the movie in companionable silence, commenting about the story so far during commercials. The “Christmas in July” movies quickly became a movie night favorite. Didi loved how they played out like a romance novel, while Tino adored the cheesiness of the plots.
“That was cute,” Tino said as the closing credits rolled.
“Yeah...’ Didi sighed. “Just one more week and then it’s over.”
“Oh well.” Tino looked up at his beloved with an impish smile. “You know, we could always watch their ‘regular’ movies.”
Didi grinned. “Sounds like a plan.”
“It is!” His smile widened into a grinned.
