Tino watched his husband Didi make a fire in the fireplace. He smiled as Didi stood up, dusted his hands off, and walked over to the sofa. “It feels warmer already,” Tino said.
Didi nodded. He put his arm around his husband and Tino snuggled in close.
“I’m glad you didn’t have to go into work today,” Tino said.
“Me too,” Didi murmured against his beloved’s temple.
“Everything looked so pretty this morning, all covered in snow.” Tino pulled away to look up at his husband. Didi nodded and Tino snuggled back into his warm embrace.
“Love you,” they chorused.
