This is the Life

For sinfulslasher… Happy Holidays!

Crowley sat on his throne, a glass of eighteen year old Glenlivet whisky in his hand. He watched his minions scurry about as he raised the glass and sipped. The whisky was smooth on his tongue and he loved the taste, with its sweet and spicy oak and long lasting malty backbone. He swallowed and let out a soft “ahhh…” This is the life… he thought as took another sip. A fine scotch whisky, Mother behaving, those damned Winchesters leaving me be…

He raised an eyebrow, a look of displeasure on his face when one of his minions held out a contract for him to sign. Crowley was glad when the idiot hurried off. He swirled the contents of his glass, watching the way the light caught the amber liquid and the soft clink of the ice in the cut-crystal glass.

Another minion approached, but a quick wave of the hand sent him on his way. A brief smile tugged Crowley’s lips upwards. He raised his glass again and finished drinking the scotch. Bringing it away from his mouth, Crowley noted with satisfaction the quick way it was refilled and the ice refreshed. Yes… he thought. This is the life…
